Ingredients:
20 Oreos (I used no name brand chocolate sandwich cookies and they worked fine)
1/2 cup of melted butter
3-4 bananas sliced
1 carton strawberry ice cream
1 carton vanilla ice cream
1 jar chocolate fudge
1/2 to 1 cup maraschino cherries
1 jar spray whipped cream
4-5 strawberries (for decoration if wanted)
Pan:
Springfoam Pan lined with parchment paper
Crust:
To prepare the crust, crush up the oreos. I placed them in a bag, and used a rolling pin to crush them. Then add the melted butter and mix together until all the butter is absorbed by the cookies. Place it in the spring foam pan lined with parchment paper pushing it against the bottom so it covers it all. Then layer the bananas on the crust. I only used 2 and was told it didn't have enough banana taste, so you might add more for more taste. Then freeze for 30 minutes.
1st Layer:
After letting the strawberry ice cream sit out for 5-10 minutes, to get soft, spread it over the crust with bananas making sure to cover all of it. I didn't use the whole carton of the ice cream, but would still reccommend buying a whole carton to be safe. Once it is all spread on top of the crust, freeze for 30 minutes. While the ice cream is freezing, microwave chocolate fudge until it is a thing liquid. Drizzle it over the strawberry ice cream one frozen. Freeze for an hour
2nd Layer:
Once the fudge has hardened, place the vanilla ice cream on top of the strawberry layer making sure to cover it all. The fudge will ooze through the vanilla ice cream and that is okay. Then freeze overnight, or until completely hardened.
Topping:
When you are ready to serve it, take it out of the springfoam pan and place it on a plate. Squirt the whipped cream on the top around the edges of the cake. Placed the sliced maraschino cherries on the whipped cream. In the center of the cake place the strawberries (if desired)
Then use a knife to cut it, and a pie slicer to slide it out.
This cake is relatively easy if you have time to wait while the different layers freeze. And it will be the big hit at a summer party
