Here is how to throw the best minion birthday party ever...
Yields: 24
1 box of yellow cake mix
1 jar vanilla frosting
1 box of twinkees
Candy eyeballs (You can make them out of white smarties and black frosting if you can't find candy eyeballs, but it will be more expensive)
Black Icing
1. Mix the yellow cake mix as directed on the box
2. Bake the cupcakes as directed on the box
3. Let them cool and begin creating the decorations
4. Cut each twinkee in half
5. Put a little dab of frosting on the twinkee and place an eyeball on. I alternated doing two eyes and one eyes on the twinkees
6. Use a black frosting tube with a #1 tip and draw around the eyes to make the goggles
7. Then use some blue food coloring to die the frosting jar and frost each cupcake
8. Place the twinkee minion head on top of each cupcake
Yields 15 servings
Two boxes of rice chex (or any kind of chex)
2 cups chocolate chips (I use milk chocolate but you can use anykind you want)
1 cup peanut butter (smooth)
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 cups yellow and blue M&M's (I bought a large bag of M&M's and seperated all of the blue and yellow one's from all the other colors)
Candy Eyeballs
1 bag mini marshmellows
1. Pour the rice chex in a big bowl
2. Measure the peanut butter and chocolate chips in a microwavable safe bowl
3. Microwave it for 30 seconds to a minute until it is smooth
4. Pour it over the rice chex mix and mix until it is completely covered
5. Add powdered sugar and mix until cereal is coated
6. Add M&M's and marshmellows
I found this yellow bucket at Target for $1 and it made a cute way to serve it
1 bag of frozen meatballs
1 15 oz jar orange marmalade
1/2 cup ketchup
1. The the meatballs by putting them in the fridge the day before serving
2. Place the meatballs in the crockpot with the ketchup and orange marmalade
3. Mix it up and let them cook on high for two hours (they can cook on low for longer if you have the time)
4. Serve with toothpicks
